The OSAC team named EASA (DOEA) is devoted to the international activities and the cooperation with EASA.
Missions
- Product certification
- Minor changes/repairs: review of minor change/repair dossier as proposed by the applicant for certification by EASA with the purpose of establishing a recommendation for approval to the Agency.
- Continued Airworthiness (CAW): EASA Project Certification Manager (PCM) assistance in the frame of standard Continued Airworthiness activities related to aircraft Type Certificate (in-service incident/accident review and analysis for identification of necessary corrective actions and development of the related Airworthiness Directives (ADs)).
- Organisations approval and surveillance
- Production Organisation Approval (POA): specifications (POE) study and performance of audits with the purpose of establishing a recommendation for Agency approval, oversight audits in the framework of approval continuation and change study for Agency approval.
- Maintenance Organisation Approval (MOA): specifications (MOE) study and performance of audits with the purpose of establishing a recommendation for Agency approval, oversight audits in the framework of approval continuation and change study for Agency approval.
- Maintenance Training Organisation Approval (MTOA): specifications (MTOE) study and performance of audits with the purpose of establishing a recommendation for Agency approval, oversight audits in the framework of approval continuation and change study for Agency approval.
- Flight Standards Approval
- Maintenance Review Board (MRB): participation as EASA representatives (EASA MWG advisor or EASA MRB chair) in the MRB process ; the primary purpose of the Maintenance Review Board (MRB) process is to assist the aircraft design organisation in establishing the approved initial minimum scheduled maintenance instructions used as reference for operator maintenance program to be approved by their local airworthiness authorities.
- Operations Suitability Data Maintenance Training (OSD MT): assessment of course qualifications for maintenance mechanics.
